Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Smaller Items
A charge of £5.99 is applied to orders of spare parts, decoration etc up to 20 kilos per parcel.
Free delivery is given on orders over £100.00 subject to the following exclusions:
Saturday Delivery - add £20.00 to your delivery charge
Deliveries Before 9am Weekdays - add £14.00 to your delivery charge
Guaranteed AM Delivery - add £4.00 to your delivery charge
Scottish Highlands, Eire, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands - Delivery charge is £20.00
If you would like to use one of the excluded delivery options, we will contact you after your order has been placed to confirm details.
Aquarium Packages
The prices shown on our web site are inclusive of delivery and installation in England.
Certain exclusions apply regarding access / stairs.
Orders to Scotland, Wales and Ireland will be quoted individually, please contact us for further details.
Delivery Schedule
Smaller Items
We aim to despatch all items of decoration, maintenance and spare parts within 2 working days at a charge of £5.99. Once you have placed your order you will receive an email confirming the despatch date of your goods.
Orders for goods excluding aquariums must be paud for by credit card or by cheque, in the case of latter form of payment we must receive the cheque beofre goods will be despatched.
Aquarium Packages
Once you have placed an order with us we will contact you to confirm all the details and give you an idea of the timescale before you will receive your aquarium. Once we have confirmed this a non-refundable deposit of 30% will be taken and the remaining amount will be collected upon delivery.
Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery, this will be done by our expert fitters who will set up the aquarium for you, all you need to do is just add water!
Back Orders
If your item (smaller items, i.e. decoration spares etc) is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the price displayed. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction.
All aquariums are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase against leakage provided that:
Any leakage does not arise from damage caused to the aquarium by impact, breaking, neglect, misuse or any other damage. No unauthorised persons have repaired or attempted to repair the aquarium.
All electrical items come with a one year guarantee, please keep proof of purchase, such as your receipt should you have any problems.
